Tooth Whitening

Our office proudly offers the Opalescence Tooth Whitening system. There are multiple methods that can be used depending on what works best for your schedule and finances. Patients do not all have the same needs.  The type of discoloration and the density of the teeth may require one or more type of whitening combinations to achieve the patient’s goals.

Opalescence Go - are ready made, prefilled, disposable whitening trays that easily adapt to the anatomy of your mouth.  Opalescence Go is great for initial whitening sessions and periodic maintenance. They also make great gifts for birthdays, graduations and other special occasions and are available as in a 4 pack or as a 10 pack.

Opalescence Custom Trays - uses comfortable customized trays and an easy to use gel that you can use in the comfort of your home.   These gels come in several different strengths depending on your whitening needs and oral health. This technique is great for initial whitening sessions and periodic maintenance.

BOOST - this is our in office rapid tooth whitening system. Many patients choose this method in order to have same day results. This can be used in conjunction with the Opalescence Go or the Custom Trays to achieve your whitening goals in less time.

Opalescence Whitening Toothpaste - this paste is a low abrasive, high fluoride option to maintain your brilliant white results without damaging the tooth structure. It is available in 4.7 oz. tubes as a regular or for sensitive teeth.

Fillings

This is a composite filling made up of a tooth-colored plastic and glass mixture. White Fillings are used to restore the damage done by tooth decay or even to reshape disfigured teeth or whiten teeth.

The composite (white filling) is placed in layers inside the area that has decayed over time. Each layer is added and then hardened using a light specialized for hardening this composite. Your dentist will then shape the composite filling to look and feel natural. This will allow for you to continue brushing and flossing like normal without noticing the filling. Finally, the filling is polished to prevent staining or early wear.
